Michelle Bryne, Luz Bergantino and Ernie Ehrhardt deserve the endless thanks of our Local for their long standing and dedicated service to the membership. Their integrity and dedication to the membership made sure no election was ever compromised.
Last night the Election Board did an exceptional job running the elections. We all owe them a debt of gratitude.
Over the past year both Brian O’Connor and Victoria Miskolczy proved themselves to be honest and thorough in their dedication to the election board and it’s independence. We thank them for their wonderful service and are sorry Victoria will no longer be on the Election Board.
We hope the new board remembers that they are an independent body and that the Executive board cannot interfere in how they do their job. They should follow the bylaws and never let themselves be unduly influenced by any outside force.
