Mr. Clinton is an award winning composer who has
\nscored over 100 films, most notably \u201cAustin Powers
\nInternational Man of Mystery\u201d and it\u2019s blockbuster
\nsequels; \u00a0Disney\u2019s hit \u201cSanta Clause\u201d sequels;
\n\u201cMortal Kombat\u201d 1 & 2; \u00a0\u201cWild Things\u201d,\u00a0 \u201cRed Shoe
\nDiaries\u201d, \u00a0John Water\u2019s \u201cA Dirty Shame\u201d \u00a0and the
\nEmmy Award winning \u201cBury My Heart At Wounded Knee.\u201d<\/p>\n
He began his professional musical career as a
\nsinger\/songwriter\/arranger in Nashville while
\nearning degrees in music and drama. Upon
\nmoving to LA, he became a staff songwriter
\nfor Warner Brothers Music with songs recorded
\nby the likes of Michael Jackson and Joe Cocker
\nand continued working as a session musician
\nand arranger. It was the music from Clinton\u2019s
\nsolo album\u00a0 \u201cThe George Clinton Band Arrives\u201d
\nthat attracted the attention of Cheech and Chong,
\ngiving him the chance to score his first film \u201cStill Smokin\u201d.<\/p>\n
In addition, Mr. Clinton is an advisor at the
\nSundance Composers Lab, serves on the Music
\nExecutive Branch of The Academy of Motion
\nPicture Arts and Sciences (The Oscars), is on
\nthe boards of the Society of Composers and
\nLyricists and the Alliance for Women Film
\nComposers, is a member of ASMAC and the
\nTelevision Academy, and was Chair of Film
\nScoring at the Berklee College of Music 2012-2015.<\/p>\n
Awards include a Platinum record for his score
\nto Mortal Kombat, Grammy and Emmy nominations,
\nthe SCL Ambassador Award, the Spirit of Tennessee
\nAward, and nine BMI Film Music Awards, including
\ntheir highest honor, the BMI Icon Award.<\/p>\n

\nFishburne film “Quicksilver,” “Breakin’ 2: Electric
\nBoogaloo,” “The Arsenio Hall Show” and numerous
\nothers; and \u00a0has been prolific in producing music
\nthroughout a wide spectrum.<\/p>\n
