WHERE O WHERE DID THE&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>According to federal law, the local must keep the ballots from<br \/>\nthe referendum for 4 years (According to our legal person).<\/p>\n<p>However, though the Local told the membership that they<br \/>\nhad 1000-2000 extra ballots printed, those ballots have<br \/>\nnot been accounted for.<\/p>\n<p>The number of ballots used for re-sends and re-votes<br \/>\ndoesn&#8217;t come anywhere near close to the number printed,<br \/>\nand they have not been cataloged with the bulk of the<br \/>\nused ballots.<\/p>\n<p>So where are they? On the first Wednesday evening<br \/>\nof each month, ASMAC will produce a new event featuring<br \/>\nvarious topics of interest for music arrangers and composers<br \/>\nstarting March 2nd with The Art of Music Preparation(pt2)<\/p>\n<p>The Art of Music Preparation (pt.2) will feature Ross deRoche,<br \/>\nLiz Finch, Kim Richmond, Jim Ciancaglini. Join us for a special<br \/>\nand informative event with a panel of expert music copyists<br \/>\nwho will discuss how to make the most out of a musician\u2019s<br \/>\nperformance by providing the best possible manuscript.<\/p>\n<p>Thoughtful music preparation saves time and money at<br \/>\nrecording sessions and rehearsals. Topics will include<br \/>\nimportant tips for orchestration, notation rules, computer<br \/>\nnotation, part layout, binding, preparing midi for orchestration,<br \/>\nproofreading, various careers in music preparation, budgets,<br \/>\nand much more. She was sometimes<br \/>\nknown as \u201cthe girl\u201d at a time when there were very few women<br \/>\nin the profession. The performance<br \/>\nwill take place this coming Saturday, February 27th at 8:00.<\/p>\n<p>This work was composed last year specifically for the HSU<br \/>\nBand. It is an energetic and tuneful \u201cold-style\u201d piece, with<br \/>\nlots of action for all sections of the band. CD&#8217;s are still available.<\/p>\n<p>This year is the first concert where the composers will<br \/>\nalso be the performers. it\u00a0also happens that the<br \/>\ninstrumentation is as strange<br \/>\nas ever.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Alto sax &#038; E.W.I.
